Meet the Teacher!
Hi everyone! I'm Esther Romero! I've been teaching at PS 111 for 7 years. I taught at a Universal Pre-K in Brownsville, Brooklyn before I came to 111. My passion for education came later in life for me. I had just turned 30 and wanted to change my life. I decided to go back to Graduate School at Hofstra University to study Childhood Education. I did my student teaching work in Gifted and Talented classes, that is where my passion grew. I decided to become certified in Gifted and Talented education and set my sights for PS 111. The minute I started working there, I knew I had found my dream job. My quest for learning has not stopped yet. I am still seeking out ways I can become better at what I do. I am still searching for ways to better facilitate the learning experience to your children. I want to thank you all for the warm welcome I've received so far. I can't wait for the wonderful things in store for this year!
